The weekend was crazy, we are still recovering. Yes, it is Thrusday. Danny's team came in second place, with him pitching the final game of the tournament against a very tough team. he took the loss to heart, cried and broke down at the last out. It was terribly heartwrenching. I wonder why the kids are so hard on them selves? He soon made it better by attending a BBQ at his manager's house for the entire family. I say family, because the team considers itself a family, not just a team. This weekend we will be away for a tournament in upstate NY. It should be fun and exciting. I still have to pack and figure out what type of clothing to get ready for us"fans." Patrick went to Philiadelphia for two days. He left on Tues am and returned last night. He went to the Liberty Bell and that area, then to a Phillies game, then to a hotel, up in the am off to Hershey Park, and then home. It was the 8th grade trip, one last hurrah in Middle School. He was tired looking, but he really had fun. Danny goes to Midieval TImes today for the 6th grade trip. It is a one day thing, and it should be a blast for him. I am on a search for Patrick's Birth Certificate. I can't find it with the others and am really getting upset. He needs copies for his travel team. It is a team that plays in the town league, made up of 13 and 14 year old kids. I am really freaked out about the birth certificate. I am usually more organized than this. I can't remember why it wouldn't be with the rest, why I took it out and didn't put it back!
But that is all for now, miles to go before we leave.

The birth certificate is mis-filed. Go look again. It might be on the floor behind the desk. Did you check the guy you gave it to for last years tournament?? YOu may have to drive to the state capital to get a certified duplicate. Make sure they put their seal on it. Now you have me worried. If he doesn't get to play it will be your fault. (there, did that sound like your husband?)
strangely enough Cliff, I had to drive to an incorporated village on the east end, the hospital where he was born is located in the village, therefore, they issue the BC's.Got a seal and all, but the league only needs a copy. U can run one off on my printer,so that makes it easier. As for last year, Patrick didn't play travel, so no luck finding someone who has it. You kind of did sound like my husand, but more like Patrick there for a moment!
You are really keeping busy Miki!! But that is good and I'm sure the kids are loving it!! Glad you were able to take care of the birth certificate problem!
Oh, that happens to me all the time. I am always losing stuff like birth certificates, social security cards, important papers. It makes me furious!
Glad Danny recovered at the BBQ. When Tiffany was playing basketball we went through some times like that. Kids and some parents have a lot of emotion wrapped up in those games. Then as parents it hard to watch your kid get so torn about it because there is nothing, nothing you can do.
Ralph
