Today is my oldest's 14th birthday. It also would have been my nephew's 27th. They shared a birthday, and my son looked up to and admired my nephew. My son is a typical 14 year old, into his stuff and the like. My nephew was a very big young man with a very big heart. So, on this happy day, I celebrate the life that is my son's and the life that was my nephew's. Marge, if you are reading this, know that we all are thinking about Michael, and that we love and miss him terribly. Today, however isn't a bad day, it is a good day. Michael was born today, Patrick was born today. However short his time with us was, Michael touched everyone that he knew. I wish he were here to send a short email or to have a small conversation with on the phone, but most of all I wish I could hear the smile in his voice when he spoke of his Mom. He loved you, Marge, he really did.
My son loved him too! He is very proud that they have the dame birthday. I am proud that Patrick is turning into the yourn man that he is. He is kind, loving and a very gentle soul. I am proud of him always!

Boys are just as scary Jaye, they think they are invincible, and that nothing and no one can touch them. Thanks to all, on behalf of Patrick for the BDay wishes. Just wish Michael were here to celebrate the day with us.
Happy Birthday to Patrick. A beautiful tribute. I've lost a niece and a nephew and I know how it hurts. It's not supposed to be that way. I'm glad his life made a difference while he was here.
