I went into the city on Wednesday. Scott has this old friend who had some time and offered to drive in to see Scott with me. I was grateful for the ride and the company. Scott had lost touch with this friend for a few years, but now they have reconnected . I am greatful for that, as I have said, it is important to surround yourself with others, those who make you feel comfortable and who know you well. Anyhow, it was an enjoyable ride in and home, and we (John andmyself) reminiced about the "old days" of Scott and him. I have known Jonh longer than I have known Scott, we went to camp together before I met Scott. But as friends go, John and Scott and Timmy were very close at one time. John, like Tim, is very concerned for Scott, and it showed on Wednesday. He was relieved that Scott looked and felt well, and at that time was experiencing no ill affects from that treatments he received. As of yesterday, his white count is holding steady at .2 and the doctor is pleased with that number. This means that the chemo has worked and now the "new" cells have to start doing their jobs. He has been lucky, not needing a transfusion of blood or platelets, they have stayed where the docs are happy with them too. The doc's estimate is that Saturday will be the day for his counts to start rising again, and that he will be released by Monday or Tuesday. I can't wait! The kids can't wait! Poor Scott is starting to go more than stir crazy in that room. The only outside contact he gets is when he gets a visitor, or when he gets a phone call. I understand where he is comming from, it is driving him nuts!
That is all for now, I will probably be unable to write more until after the weekend, it is a buys one again. My nephew is comming over to put in windows, the kitchen project has begun, on Saturday, Patrick has a practice for Baseball on Saturday AM, and Daniel has a practice on Sunday, smack dab in the middle of the day. Come Monday, I will be a little zombified, (don't ya love that I make up words?) Make today a great one everyone!

So glad to hear home is in sight for Scott - and for all of you.
Sounds like Scott is doing well other than the frustration of being there. What wonderful news!
No...you've already made my day a great one. Glad to hear so far, so good. Faith;, girl, faith.
Sounds like things are going fairly good. I imagine everyone will be happier when Scott is home with his family, probably none more than him.
