I just read another Blogger's post. It saddened me a little. A beloved pet passed away in his arms this morning. I felt for the Blogger and his family, and actually cried. It brought back memories of the pets in my lifetime that have graced and I mean graced me with their love and affection. I could write a great deal about each and everyone of these pets, and I would get very sad. So, I won't write about the passing of all of the pets in my lifetime thusfar. What I think is a universal theme here is the giving of love, and being able to get it back tenfold. My life has been enhanced by good and sometimes evil pets. I learned what kinds of pets are "fpr me," and what kinds of pets that I would never allow in my household, when I had a household. There will be no reptiles of any kind, I don't care that water turtles are harmless, I cannot do it! I don't like rodents, not even fuzzy little hamsters, they are cute to look at, but, a real BEEATCH to get your kids to clean that amonia dump called a cage, habitat or whatever. I do love dogs, big, small and in between. They are great and sometimes funny pets. I have had my share of evil ones too, ones that couldn't be rehabilitated, and ones that turned out to be pretty good for all concerned. It is nice to open that front door and have someone waiting to say hello when you walk in.
Take time, if you have pets, love them, care for them and enjoy the time you have with them, it will make you a happier person, it will make you stop and feel that something matters to you and you matter to something in this insane world we live in.
