I am so sorry!

Hey, hope all of my 5 loyal readers didn't escape on me! Listen you guys, I put up word verification to stop all of the spam on this blog. Those spam comments are ridiculous! Somehow I clicked on team members only to comment. I don't have a team and don't know the first thing about team blogging! OOPS! I think that I fixed it. You all know and have known that I claim to be computer impaired! Now you have absolute proof! Don't even know how the heck I restricted the comments! Now I will always welcome your comments! Sorry again!

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I did that right after the first spam I received. I get enough of those in my e-mail accounts, I don't need them on my blog.

Hey there Miki! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hate putting the word verification on but I received lots of spam so that was it for me. It can be a drag. Have you always lived in New York? I was to NY on a class trip in High School. I will always remember it, it was an experience like no other. Saw CATS and all that good stuff. Will come and visit again! Cheers!

Cheyenne, I know what you mean about the spammers, they are relentless! But my problem was that I stopped allowing comments except from team members, Don't know how, but I did!

Shelly, yes have always lived in NY, but not the "city" as we here on Long Island refer to it. Never lived there. In fact we visit at times. Have a couple of friends who live and work in NYC. My husband is going to be hospitalized twice in Manhattan, once this month for hip surgery, and once, probably in January for a stem cell transplant. If you delve into my archives, you will read why. He has MULTIPLE MYELOMA. A cancer with no cure, but treatable for the rest of his life.

ANYHOW, thanks to both of you for stopping by. Keep reading!

Well, hey there Miki - I stopped by via Cliff, again. I'm glad to see you got things fixed! I'm with Shelley on the spam; we get enough in our email.

I'll be stopping by again. You are off to a good start with your blog.

Hi Miki,
I found your blog through Cliff and Just a Mom. Glad you got your comments fixed.

Long Island, huh? I had a good friend in college who was from Massapequa and still lives out on Long Island. We used to drive out there once a year. I also got in a car wreck in Huntington, and left my spleen at the hospital there.

I'll be visiting from time to time.
Take care now!

I left a comment last nite but see it's gone again. Sometimes I have trouble with that. Anyway, glad all is fixed and good luck to you and yours.

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by, I don't update daily, just when the inspiration hits me! I was an English major in college and always kept a journal, nothing profound, but just thoughts. Recently I stopped doing that and missed it, so here I created a Blog!

Jerry---My son just played a baseball game in Massapequa, about two weeks ago, and I used to do school shopping when the Mall opened there, but I live further east, Patchogue. I know where Huntington is, what hospital did you leave your spleen in? I grew up in Patchogue, and have lived here most of my life.

Miki,
I think it was just called Huntington Hospital. I was there for 10 days. Not fun. I haven't been back to L.I. since then. I don't think I've been to Patchogue.

Keep up the writing.
