I was re reading some of my posts from when I started this little thing called a blog. WOW! I was quite philosophical. I blogged about everything from the stars to what makes me comfortable, with a little religion in between. Strange how your circumstances make you see the world in a different way. Or see the world through different eyes, so to speak. I have been very BLAH lately. I think that I am drained, physically and emotionally. It seems that my motivation level has been locked in the basement of an old abandoned house. It may be the winter, although I usually love the winter. I thrive when I feel alive, and alert, usually this happens more in the winter, the cold jolts my senses alive. This winter, my body isn't liking the cold, I too, like my friend Rachel over at www.slidingthroughlife.blogspot.com am getting achy and creaky. I guess I should take her advice and take the aleve for the aches and pains. Usually a little tylenol or advil works for me. I guess the last year and a half has started to take its toll on me. Well, I will try to be more philosophical again. I will think about things other than illness, or the average ordinary everyday stuff, although everyday stuff can be quite amusing at times. If I remember to remember, I will tell you funny stories again about the dogs and the kids.
We did get something new, a new mattress and "foundation" (the new buzz word for what we used to call a "box spring") I did have to go out and buy new sheets for it, and while I was at it, I bought pillow protectors and a mattress pad, and got a nice comforter for a very good sale price. I couldn't believe the expense for sheets, so I went through all of the racks and found the 75% off rack. I got a set of IZOD sheets for something like 27.99 and extra pillow cases, a set of 2 for 7 and change. I wish that they had other colors that I liked, but wild stripes aren't my or my husband's style. Actually, I don't think he would notice the stripes, he just gets into the bed says goodnight and poof, almost instantly he is out! He has always been that way, he comes to bed when he is tired and goes right to sleep. He doesn't need to relax and stretch out and get all comfy before sleep overcomes him. I guess he isn't multi tasking in his head, you women know what I am talking about. The continuous record that keeps playing, over and over again, until you are so exhausted that sleep overtakes your consciousness. Yeah that stuff. But, I did well and got 2 sets of sheets, three extra sets of pillow cases, 5 pillow protectors, a bed mat(mattress pad) and a comforter. I did well at JCPenny. That usually doesn't happen for me at anystore. SO I am proud of myself!
Well, my mundane post is over for now, dinner needs to be cooked before we are off to Baseball practice tonite!
Keep on reading, it will be more exciting here from now on! Or I will try for it! How is that????

As your willing to try, us, your three willing readers, will wait patiently until something witty comes. I have this problem too. But, luckily, my poetry professor likes the fact that I am including my "everyday" life stuff in my poetry. So, mundane doesn't have to be so blah. Remember, I'm your #3 reader!
