here are some of the pictures of the first day of school. All that I am missing is a photo of the three kids, my three. The boys were in too much of a hurry to wait to take a pic with their little sister! All in all a good day was had by all, and yes, we went school supply shopping
last night, I bought the basics in early August, but of course, none of those basics were good enough for the 8th grade teachers! So, off to Staples we went. I didn't spend a lot of money, but enough. So, today the Spanish teacher will be happy, since she demanded that the supplies be in by today, and Patrick's other teachers will be suprised, they did n't demand, but asked that the supplies be in by next week. Daniel needed a couple of additional supplies, nothing major, so he too is set! Cassidy and her massive back pack went in yesterday, and she is all set! Hope that everyone who started school this week had great days, and that all of the little ones want to go back! If you all started school earlier, you must be in the "swing" of things, have a routine and all. 'Til next post, then.

The boys don't look real thrilled on the first day back!! Seems like the summer goes so fast and it's back to school before you know it.
My Grandchildren started the 16th of August so they must be about ready for the Christmas break.
These are exciting times for y'all. Enjoy it and burn these memories into your brain very carefully. It doesn't get any better than that.
oh mygosh how sweet!!!! Mine went back the 14th of aug. Thanks girl I will kep plugging with my health but today I think has shown me that is is stress!!!!! I'll tell ya I am going back next week and will further check it out.
Awwww! Now, just what I remember about starting school on the east coast. We always started school the Thursday AFTER Labor Day. Here, in blah, OH, the kids start school the Monday BEFORE Labor Day. What a way to spend stupid money to not do much for the first week! And, it's the same in college, but I think college is this way everywhere.
