These pictures aren't perfect, but they needed to be posted here. I regret to write this, but my Nephew, the very tall young man, has passed away. He had a massive heart attack at age 25.
He was in good physical shape, a basketball player, in high school, and college.
He had been having some problems lately and my sister was trying with all of her might to get him through it. I give my sister a lot of credit, she raised three kids without any assistance from her ex husband, had to fight him tooth and nail to get the child support he owed and needed to pay. She made it to baseball, and basketball games for both Michael and his brother. She did her best and beyond.
Michael was born on Feb.18, 1980. He was the second of three children born to my sister Margaret. He wasn't an easy child nor an easy teen, but as he grew up, he became very kind and caring to his mother. His life wasn't easy, he had demons to overcome, but he was trying to get through his life, and show the world the good person that he was. I am overcome with emotion as I write this, I am unbelieving and cannot accept that he is gone. I cannot imagine the pain that my sister, my neice and my nephew are going through. They were so unbelieveably close in these last few years.
All that I can say is that we need to thank GOD for the time we had with Michael, that we need to feel that he is always a part of us, and be greatful that we knew him. The gentle giant, the quiet young man, a young man that my children looked up to in statue and with pride.

I'm sooo sorry! {{{BIG HUGS}}}
Thank you Cathy, I amfeeling a little blue. I didn't get to go to be with my sister at this terrible time. The doctor advised that Scott not make the trip. It would be too long in the car without a break. It is an 8 hour ride, upstate NY just below Buffalo. My one sisterand her husband went up to be with Marge, shown in the pictures, and got the last hotel room for the weekend. All was booked, due to it being move in weekend at the two colleges in the town. So, just as well that we didn't go up cold and try to find a place to stay.
Love, M
Thanks, Rick.
Have been offline for a few days, but am shocked to come back to this news. Our prayers are with your family just now.
Thank you, ROger, we were shocked to hear the news too. My sister especially needs the prayers, she is still in a state of shock, I heard it in her voice last evening. It will all sink in when my sister and brother in law say their "good byes," and return to the island. As I said, I wish that I could have been there for her, but my attention needed to be here.
