Friends

First, I would love to thank everyone who reads my utter ramblings! I appreciate an audience!
Second, I would love to thank my friends, old and new for being so very supportive during this very trying time. Scott and I are now playing the waiting game, all tests are done, and we wait for word. He has an appointment on Thursday at 345pm. I would hope that if something serious needs to be discussed, the doctor wouldn't wait until them to get him in to the office!
Anyway, Rick, thank you for jolting me into the reality that I do and always have had people around me to talk to, I appreciate that you are only around the corner. Lisa, I love the way you are there immediately, no questions asked, to boost me when I feel low. Your phone call the other day made me realize that friends for life means just that! I felt better knowing you are in my life, and always have been. Maria, you are a loyal and loving friend, one that I cherish deeply. When Lisa told me to call you, I know you meant it. I so felt better after I got off of the phone with you, I was more relaxed than I had been in over a week. It is great that distance doesn't separate us!
To my "newer" friends, Barbara, Dodi, Robin and Pete. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I really do feel as if we are in this thing together, not just baseball, life. Thank God we met each other, I feel comforted that we can talk and feel comfortable about serious things!
I promise that everyone will know what is going on, as soon as we do, keep a good thought for us, we are being positive about the whole thing!
