Be Careful What You Wish For...........................

I seem to remember that a couple of weeks ago, we were wishing for the heat, because we were experiencing a rash of rainy cold and very un spring like days. How silly of us to make wishes, it is like Pinnochio and the star, when you wish upon a star your dreams come true!
Here we are in the middle of June, Sweltering, like the dog days of August! Silly fools that we are, we weren't satisfied with what has become our Spring, here on Long Island. My children are dying to get into the pool, and hopefully my husband will tell them that it is alright to go in, I can't take the crankies anymore!
I don't blame them, I have the crankies too! I am not a person who adjusts to the heat very well, I get nasty and rotten, not very endearing traits, I might add. I hate to be rotten, and I hate to be nasty, it appals me the things that come out of my mouth! However, this too shall pass, it seems as though it never will, but it always does.
